Hamlet

Kennith's version of Hamlet is more angry than sad. The actor who plays Hamlet do es not seem mornful of his father's death. He come into the scene with no emotion. The sound effects, music and visual images and tone of the ghost plays makes the whole scene angry and just full of hate. All that anger in the first few minutes of the movie, was unnecessary. I would more focus on body language for this movie and more facial expression to show how sad Hamlet is. So far in the movie, Hamlet has only had one face (or maybe that's just his face).

In the more modern version of Hamlet, is OK. The ghost scene is confusing to me. I do not understand what the ghost is trying to tell Hamlet. Also he is a ghost, I do not think  ghosts can touch or lay hands on a physical being. The other two movies played the scene where the spirit of Hamlet's father wants to touch his son well. In the other films they do not touch or grab Hamlet, but they want to, but can not because they are ghosts.

Zeffirelli'S version I think is the best out of all three. It's not loaded with unnecessary corny visuals like Kennith's version. Mel plays Hamlet well, sad, confused, and angry. The setting speaks more to the feeling of the situation. Gloomy, sad, and weird. The ghost scene is perfect. The spirit of Hamlet's father shows true pain of being in purgatory.
